TIGER TEXT

" If you send a private text message it should stay private. "

A California start-up has launched a TigerText iPhone application that lets people delete text messages after they have been sent out without a trace.

Tigertext.com is a text message trail-covering application for iPhone and versions are to be available by the end of March for BlackBerry smartphones as well as those running on Android software.

X Sigma Partners founder Jeffrey Evans says " I understand part of the reason people want to talk about it today is because of the name but this is not about people trying to cheat, "

While reading messages is free, the service costs $US1.49 per 250 messages sent monthly or $US2.49 per month for limitless messaging.

WHERE WAS THIS APP WHEN TIGER NEEDED IT MOST?
